Description
A girandole is built in tiers, and this one shows the logic plainly: a starburst at the top, a bowed cross-piece below it, then five drops hung along the lower edge on open wire links.
Every garnet is square, foil-backed and set in a raised collet with the metal rubbed over the corners. The colour is a dark blood red that goes almost black away from a window.
Two strings of seed pearls swag across the cross-piece and three larger pearls hang below. The pearls have gone slightly cream against the gilding, and we have not tried to match them.

Beautiful piece and the box it arrives in is lovely. Half a star off because I had to email to ask about the chain length.

They talked me out of a more expensive piece because it was wrong for my hand. I have bought twice more since.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.

Bought for an anniversary. The finish is far better than anything I was shown in the chain shops at twice the price.
