Description
The centre is carved from single pieces of coral, not assembled from beads: five deep rosettes, a scatter of smooth buds and several lengths of raw branch left with their natural bend.
Behind it the three bead strands are graduated, largest at the front, so the collar tapers into the neck and the weight stays where the carving is.
Coral is soft. Keep it off perfume and away from a bathroom shelf, and let it be the last thing put on and the first taken off.
