Description
The two amber barrels at the centre are the anchor of the piece — warm orange, slightly cloudy, and worn smooth where they have rubbed against the coins for decades.
Silver coins are pierced and hung in loose bunches on either side. They are all different, which is the point: this was built up over time rather than made in one sitting.
It ties at the back with plaited cord finished by a black bead at each end, so the length is set by whoever is wearing it.
