Our bench copied this from a bangle in the house archive, matching the wire gauge rather than the outline — the vine has to be drawn at the original thickness or the birds close up and disappear.
Rails top and bottom carry the whole load. The pierced field between them is decorative and would not survive being squeezed, so it is sized and not adjusted.
Shot against black to keep the openings readable. Worn, the skin behind it fills them in and the birds read as silhouettes.
