Description
The face is a full disc, larger than the shank can comfortably carry, and its rim is nicked all round with small punch marks.
The script is cut in reverse, as a working seal must be, and the recesses are filled black — either an old niello or centuries of ink. Either way it is what makes the lettering legible in the photograph.
The hoop is chased with fine parallel grooves on one shoulder and left plain on the other, and one side has split and been closed again in antiquity.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

They talked me out of a more expensive piece because it was wrong for my hand. I have bought twice more since.

No complaints about the piece itself; delivery took a day longer than the estimate.

Bought for an anniversary. The finish is far better than anything I was shown in the chain shops at twice the price.

Beautiful piece and the box it arrives in is lovely. Half a star off because I had to email to ask about the chain length.
