Description
Everything about the profile is deliberate: the shank swells outward into a broad conical body, then steps back in four narrowing courses to hold the stone. Seen from the side it is closer to a small vessel than to a ring.
The black stone is polished flat-domed and reflects the light source as a single hard spot. There is no carving in it and there never was.
The interior hoop is small relative to the exterior mass, so it wears best on a finger that can carry the weight without turning.

They talked me out of a more expensive piece because it was wrong for my hand. I have bought twice more since.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.

Bought for an anniversary. The finish is far better than anything I was shown in the chain shops at twice the price.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.
