Description
No engraving anywhere on this one. The letters were made by driving a fine point into the gold, dot after dot, which is why they read as a broken line rather than a cut groove.
Weight is the whole character of the piece: the shank thickens steeply into a flat-topped bezel, and it sits on the hand like a stone. The interior is worn bright from wear and the outside is not.
An antiquity, sold as found. We rinse and stabilise pieces like this and stop there.

They talked me out of a more expensive piece because it was wrong for my hand. I have bought twice more since.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.

No complaints about the piece itself; delivery took a day longer than the estimate.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

Beautiful piece and the box it arrives in is lovely. Half a star off because I had to email to ask about the chain length.
