Description
The construction is open: an upper band and a lower band, and between them a single length of wire bent back and forth and soldered at each turn. You can see straight through it.
Letters are punched — not engraved — along the top band and continue onto the lower one. They are shallow and uneven in depth, struck one at a time.
One solder joint at the left shoulder has parted and is visible as a bright line. We have left it. Restoring it would mean heating gold that has survived two thousand years unheated.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.

No complaints about the piece itself; delivery took a day longer than the estimate.
