Description
Offered as an antiquity. The body is almost black with a red-brown bloom coming through in patches, and the gold that survives sits only where the engraving is deepest — in the eye rings and the collar scales.
Solid section, not hollow. It weighs more than it looks like it should and it does not flex.
Two serpents facing across a 30 mm gap. Where the heads meet the body the metal thins slightly, and that is where any future damage will occur; we do not recommend opening it at all.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.

Bought for an anniversary. The finish is far better than anything I was shown in the chain shops at twice the price.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

Beautiful piece and the box it arrives in is lovely. Half a star off because I had to email to ask about the chain length.
