Description
Every bead was ground by hand and drilled from both ends, which is why the holes meet slightly off-centre and the beads sit at small angles to each other.
Sandstone, limestone and a single terracotta bead give the sequence its shift from grey through ochre to red. Nothing here is dyed or sealed.
The long pebble at the front is the heaviest element and pulls the strand into a deep V once it is on.
