Description
Roughly ninety small ankhs hang from the outer edge, all facing the same way, so the collar reads as a continuous fringe rather than as individual charms.
Above them the tube beads are grouped by colour in blocks of six or seven — red, then blue, then green — and threaded between rows of fine gold spacers that keep the whole band flat against the collarbone.
It closes with a simple slide at the back of the neck. Faience is glass-hard and chips rather than scratches; the piece travels in its own tray.
