Description
The crescent is enamelled on both faces — petals in pink and white with fine black hatching — and it hangs inside the hoop rather than below it, so the hoop frames the ornament.
A single pearl sits upright in a gold cup at the top of the crescent. The other five hang free on wire links along its lower edge, off-round and unmatched, as river pearls are.
The fitting is a screw-back clip with a plain gold pad. It grips harder than a modern spring clip and can be slackened at the bench if it proves too firm.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.

No complaints about the piece itself; delivery took a day longer than the estimate.
