Description
The white marks are not paint. Alkali is drawn into the surface of the stone and fired, which bleaches the pattern permanently into the top layer.
Shapes run from long barrels to squat drums, and the sequence is deliberately uneven — the two largest beads sit next to each other at the front.
Knotted between beads on doubled cord so a break loses one bead rather than the whole bracelet.
