Description
Every second link is left plain and polished. That is what stops the piece from reading as a solid band of stones, and it is why it still looks like jewellery under a lamp rather than a strip of glitter.
The scrollwork is cast, then oxidised and rubbed back, so the darkness sits only in the recesses.
Elasticated through the link backs — it stretches to go on, then closes up and holds its round shape.
