Description
Three tiers to each earring: a teardrop of shaped turquoise plates around a pale cabochon, a round boss below it, and a splayed foot of three more plates.
The turquoise runs from near-white to a strong blue-green with dark matrix — cut from several stones, and never intended to match.
They came to us still tied together at the top by the braided cord that was used to hang them over the ear rather than through it. That cord is old and we have left it on; wear them on our silver hooks, which are supplied loose in the box.
