Description
Both figures are worked in sheet gold over a former, then chased: the skirt pleats are cut in, the faces pressed. They are not identical, and the right-hand one still holds a small disc against her hip.
The hooks are long — they pass through the lobe and continue behind the figure as a back-stay, which is why the drops hang flat rather than swinging out.
Gold this pure is very soft. Handle them by the hook, never by the arms, which is where old repairs on pieces of this type always sit.

Bought for an anniversary. The finish is far better than anything I was shown in the chain shops at twice the price.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.
