Description
Excavated bronze, offered as an antiquity. The green is cuprite and malachite grown into the surface over centuries — it is stable, it is not dirt, and it must not be polished off.
Both terminals are cast as crouching lions facing each other across the gap. The faces are the palest part of the piece, which is what happens when a bracelet is handled at the same two points for a lifetime.
It arrives on a padded former. Opening it further to fit a larger wrist would crack the patina, so we size the wearer to the bracelet.

Beautiful piece and the box it arrives in is lovely. Half a star off because I had to email to ask about the chain length.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.
