Description
Only the front half is decorated: a row of triangles filled with punched dots, bounded above and below by a stippled line. The maker stopped where the collar disappears under hair, which tells you how it was meant to sit.
The metal has gone a warm grey-brown all over, with the original bronze showing through on the high back curve where centuries of handling kept it bright.
Offered as an antiquity, not a reproduction. The ends are open and slightly flattened; they spring apart far enough to pass the neck and hold their set position without a catch.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.

Beautiful piece and the box it arrives in is lovely. Half a star off because I had to email to ask about the chain length.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.

No complaints about the piece itself; delivery took a day longer than the estimate.
