Description
Worked from a single rod. It stays round and slim across the back of the neck, then flattens and widens as it comes forward until it meets itself in a shallow angle at the front.
Hammer marks were left in. Under raking light you can count the passes across the flattened section, and the front edge is not quite symmetrical.
The terminals are finished with tight wire coils and small loops. It is a rigid open collar — spring it slightly at the gap to put it on, and it holds its own shape afterwards.
