Description
Eight points, each edged in rubies and filled with rose-cut colourless stones, with a ruby cluster capping every tip and red and blue enamel in the angles between the arms.
The gold medallion at the centre is struck in relief with a rider and a spear. Above the star, a second gold head sits inside a further ruby-and-diamond frame carrying the loop.
An archive piece, sold as an antique badge and not as a decoration of any order. It has a pin fitting on the reverse as well as the loop, so it can be pinned flat or hung from a ribbon.
