Description
Very heavy, and built like architecture: a wide barrel of gold, a stepped collar, then the stone. The bore is narrow relative to the mass around it.
Every visible surface except the bezel steps is worked over with fine cross-hatching, laid in panels that meet at the shoulders. The tool has skipped in places and those skips have been left.
The garnet is faceted, seated deep, and shows an old chip at one edge. It is an excavated piece and is sold with that plainly stated.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.

No complaints about the piece itself; delivery took a day longer than the estimate.
