Description
The domes are raised by hand and left with the hammer marks in them, so the light breaks across the surface instead of sliding over it. A single grain marks the centre of each.
Below sits the busy half: a pointed garnet in a rubbed-over collet, flanked by spiral bosses and finished with pyramids of granules that hang like small bunches of fruit.
Old dust remains packed between the granules on the right-hand earring. Cleaning it out risks taking grains with it, and we would rather the piece kept them.
