The plaque runs across the finger rather than along it, so the ring reads as a bar from above and almost disappears from the front.
Sides and gallery are cut into a fine lattice, which drops a surprising amount of weight out of a piece this size — it wears like a much smaller ring.
Stones are faceted ovals in beaded collets, matched for tone rather than cut. Photographed outdoors, where the green goes yellower than it does under lamplight.
