Description
Painted enamel over a scalloped gold case, fired in several passes — the crimson streaking runs into the cream exactly as it does on a broken tulip, which is what the pattern is quoting.
Lines of seed pearls follow the petal edges, each drilled and threaded on a gold wire rather than glued into a channel. Two are missing near the lower left; the wire is intact.
It opens. The hinge sits under the bail and the interior is plain polished gold, unengraved, waiting for whatever the owner wants put in it.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.

Bought for an anniversary. The finish is far better than anything I was shown in the chain shops at twice the price.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

Beautiful piece and the box it arrives in is lovely. Half a star off because I had to email to ask about the chain length.
