Description
The birds are the clasp: two enamelled peacocks meet beak to beak at the top of each bangle, and the hinge that opens it is hidden underneath their bodies.
Cobalt for the breast, green for the tail coverts, with tiny red enamel eyes — fired in stages, which is why the colours meet cleanly instead of bleeding.
The silver band is engraved in a radiating fan pattern and set with flat rose-cut stones in kundan collets around the outside. Sold as the pair, one for each wrist.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.

Bought for an anniversary. The finish is far better than anything I was shown in the chain shops at twice the price.

Beautiful piece and the box it arrives in is lovely. Half a star off because I had to email to ask about the chain length.

They talked me out of a more expensive piece because it was wrong for my hand. I have bought twice more since.
