Description
Sixteen thin bronze discs sit at the front, overlapping where the cord has settled. Corrosion has eaten the edges unevenly and left a green bloom over what was once a bright yellow metal.
Behind them the strand narrows into tight black heishi, so the piece reads as almost nothing at the back of the neck and gathers all its weight at the throat.
Offered as an antiquity. It has been consolidated but not cleaned back to metal — stripping the patina would take the object with it.
