Description
The plaque is long and narrow with rounded ends, and the shank comes off the top and bottom of it rather than the sides — the ring is worn along the finger, not across it.
Inside the sunk frame the signs are cut deep. A single gold disc remains in place near the centre; the recesses beside it are empty, and those were inlaid once too.
Silver of this age darkens to near-black and we leave it there. Polishing it back to white would take the incised lines with it.

Beautiful piece and the box it arrives in is lovely. Half a star off because I had to email to ask about the chain length.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.
