Cheaper than a gem ring when it was made and more interesting now: the device is engraved directly into the bronze face, so the bezel and the seal are one piece.
Age has pulled the colour toward chocolate, with green flecks where the alloy has reacted. The shank is thin and slightly out of round, which is normal for a cast ring that has been worn.
Reads at hand distance as a plain oval signet. Only close up does the cut figure resolve.
