Forged from square silver stock and planished flat along the front, so the collar catches light as one long band instead of a row of links.
The two ends are bound with tight wire coils and finish in a simple hook and eye. It opens by springing the ring, not by unclasping it — expect to use both hands the first few times.
Silver this plain will grey in the recesses within a season. A soft cloth brings it back; polish only the raised front and leave the coils dark.
