Description
Every ball is a core wound with silk and then covered pearl by pearl, each one drilled and sewn down. The largest carries well over a hundred; the smallest, at the top, perhaps thirty.
Between the balls run short links of graduated seed pearls, knotted rather than wired, which is why the tassel bends rather than swings as a rigid unit.
Photographed against black because the pearls are cream, not white, and against a pale ground the distinction disappears. One earring only — its partner did not survive.

Exactly as described. It sits slightly higher on the collarbone than I expected — worth measuring first.

Beautiful piece and the box it arrives in is lovely. Half a star off because I had to email to ask about the chain length.

Worn daily for a year and it still looks like the day it arrived. The resize was done in three days and cost nothing, exactly as promised.

The photographs are honest — it is the same colour of gold in daylight as it is on the page, which I did not expect.

No complaints about the piece itself; delivery took a day longer than the estimate.
